In 2019, after gaining invaluable experience and building strong relationships under her previous boss for two decades, Renee took the leap and became the owner of the salon. Her focus? To keep delivering amazing hair transformations and ensure every client leaves with a smile, all in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

Cheryl Sanders is our dynamic Hair Stylist and Nail Technician, whose journey at our salon began as an Assistant/Apprentice. She has since evolved into a talented stylist licensed for over 3 years, always eager to expand her skill set and enhance her offerings. Cheryl is committed to continuous learning, ensuring she can provide a wider range of top-notch color services and big changes to our clients.

Bri Ott is our skilled Hair Stylist and Nail Technician, proudly hailing from Smithsburg. She kicked off her career in our salon as an assistant and has since earned her stripes, boasting 7 years of licensure. By day, Bri is a full-time Dental Hygienist, but her passion for styling and beauty brings her back to us for 14 hours a week. It's clear she loves what she does, and it shines through in her dedication and the stunning results she delivers.

Maia Mathias is a vibrant Hair Stylist and Lash Technician, and a proud Level 1 stylist from The Temple, a Paul Mitchell school. As our go-to lash expert, Maia is eager to broaden her repertoire within the salon. She brings the latest trends and techniques to her clients, ready to enhance their beauty experience with new and innovative services. Maia has been licensed for 2 years and loves doing long hair, blonding, and lived-in color.

Kathy Plunkett is a cherished Hair Stylist with an incredible 40+ years of experience, all rooted in her hometown of Smithsburg. She's a lover of all things vintage and Disney, bringing a unique flair and passion to her work. Not just a wizard with hair, Kathy is also the go-to trivia ace, always ready to be your "phone a friend" for those tricky questions. Her vast experience and eclectic interests make every appointment with her not just a styling session, but a delightful journey through her vibrant world.

Trisha has been a licensed stylist for over 5 years and has a true passion for creating beautiful transformations. She specializes in all things color -whether it's vibrant vivids, stunning blondes, or bold, dramatic changes, those are her absolute favorites! In addition to her color expertise, Trisha also offers nails, pedicures, and lash extensions and brow lamination making her a true all-in-one beauty professional. A proud Smithsburg native, Trisha loves connecting with her clients and making them feel confident, refreshed, and fabulous every time they leave her chair.

Mandi has been a stylist for 12 years and brings an incredible blend of skill, creativity, and experience to Platinum Hair Salon. Joining us from The Artists Palette, she has built a loyal clientele through her passion for helping every guest feel confident, cared for, and completely refreshed. Mandi specializes in color, blonding, grey blending, men’s cuts, beard trimming, and razor cuts. She also offers loc maintenance, ethnic haircare, cutting, and coloring, making her a versatile stylist with a wide range of expertise behind the chair. With her warm approach and eye for detail, Mandi loves creating customized looks that fit each client’s style, personality, and everyday life.
